threads are pipe threads then NPS comes before NPT., e.g. if the desired part has a:
1) 3"
NPT x 2½" NST the part number would be N36-25F30T
2) 3"
NST x 3" NPS the part number would be N36-30S30F
3) 3"
NPT x 3" NPS the part number would be N36-30S30T
