The Parflex Division The Parflex Division, part of the Fluid Connectors Group, includes the Ravenna facility in Ohio, a hose assembly facility in Stafford, Texas, a hose manufacturing plant in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, and a fluoropolymer manufacturing plant in Chestnut Ridge, N.Y. The Parflex Division is responsible for the manufacture of thermoplastic hose, tubing, hose bundles, harnesses, and high pressure hose assemblies and fluoropolymer tubing. The Charter of the Parflex Division is: "To be the global leader in engineered polymer-based products, and to provide system solutions for the conveyance and control of fluids." 1969 Parker acquired D&G Plastics, manufacturers of: tubing, plastic tube fittings, & sporting goods 1970 Started R & D- airbrake tubing, freon hose, thermoplastic hydraulic hose 1973 Broke ground on Ravenna, Ohio hose plant 1975-1978 Initiated some rubber hose development-acquired Multitube from TRW- expanded operation 1979 Developed special air-conditioning hose- introduced first wire reinforced thermoplastic hose- moved rubber hose to new Manhattan, Kansas plant 1982 Parflex is formed as profit center- started airbrake harness production 1985 Expanded Ravenna facility- developed metal cutting in Mooresville, N.C. 1994 Acquired Polyflex Gmbh (Germany)- 60,000 PSI hose manufacturer 1995 Expanded plant and lab in Ravenna 2000 Acquired Dayco Manitowoc, Wisconsin- manufacturer of thermoplastic and hybrid hoses 2003 Acquired Atlantic Tubing Chestnut Ridge, N.Y.- manufacturer of fluoropolymer tubing Catalog 4200 Catalog 4690-MH1 Catalog 4150 Catalog 4900 For information on products not contained in this catalog please contact Catalog Services at 440.205.7799 for copies of these additional Parflex products.
