Slide-Out ServiceTM on the DRX750 Makes Maintenance Quick, Convenient and Safe. The DRX750 Impact Bed separates in the middle, allowing the two sides to slide apart and out. Convenient Slide-Out ServiceTM gives direct access to all the bars and bolts for quick, easy and safe maintenance. The bed offers rapid conversion from run position to service position and back again. Other beds require that a two-man crew spend up to eight hours replacing the bars. With a DRX bed, that same crew can finish a complete bar change out in just one to two hours. Additionally, the DRX line is designed to work with any common rubber impact bar. Use existing stock and maintain a smaller inventory for future change outs. Safety is also improved with a DRX bed. When the two sides are moved out, a pair of Positive Anchoring Bolts ensures that each side remains safely secured. When returned to the run position, the side assemblies easily engage with a central locating pin, while the bolts secure each side back in place. Superior Impact Bar Supports Enhance Bar Function. Made from high-strength steel, our distinctive inverted-design Impact Bar Supports let the impact bars expand, function properly and absorb more impact energy. This design also maintains optimal clearance between the supports so fugitive material can fall through and not build up. Finally, an Anti-Migratory Tab on each support bar secures the impact bar and prevents it from sliding in the same direction as the belt. Channel Crossbeams Efficiently Transfer Impact Energy. Our Channel Crossbeams feature gussets to tie the top and bottom flange together to improve the capacity and overall efficiency of the beams. This means we have lighter and stronger beams for your applications. Contoured ends on the Channel Crossbeams save vertical space and leave a thicker, more robust middle section to carry the load. All standard DRX Impact Beds use the same Channel Crossbeams. This allows us to keep a stocked inventory and reduces turnaround time.
