DRX1500: Deadening Impact and Absorbing Energy. DRX1500--Designed for Heavy-Duty Protection. Engineered for coal-fired power plants, coal prep plants and load out facilities, the DRX1500 Impact Bed is intended for up to 1500 lb-ft applications of impact energy. (See calculation chart below.) Generally recommended for -12" (-300mm) material, or situations where the greatest dimension of the rock is less than twelve inches, the DRX1500 works with 24" � 72" (600mm � 1800mm) belts. First Level Protection Goes Way Beyond the Bars. With the DRX line, like other beds, impact bars first absorb impact energy and provide the initial reduction of reaction forces. However, our supports are superior to other bar supports. Our unique inverted-design Impact Bar Supports allow the impact bars to function properly--expanding and absorbing more impact energy. This makes our first level of defense extraordinarily effective at protecting the belt against damaging reaction forces. Only DRX Offers a Second Level of Belt Protection. In the DRX1500, Isolation Mounts--located at the base of the bed--provide a second level of reaction force reduction, absorbing additional impact energy and minimizing transmission back to the belt.
