EXPANDED P.T.F.E. TADPOLE SEAL
An exclusive product of Darco, this product is
top of the line for applications with steam and
chemicals. Good for 500°F and full vacuum to
3000 PSI. FDA suitable.
EXPANDED P.T.F.E. SHEET
For use in heavy chemical and steam applica-
tions. Good for acidics, caustics and all steam
under 500°F. Used in Chemical Processing, Pulp,
Paper and Ultra Pure applications. Excellent die-
cutting qualities.
EXPANDED P.T.F.E. GASKETS
Rated for -450°F to +500°F with full vacuum to
3000 PSI. Excellent for steam and chemical ap-
plications in the pulp and paper industry, boiler
manufacture and repair, chemical processing,
and more. Standard flange gaskets and spe-
cialty gaskets.
P.T.F.E. ENVELOPE GASKETS
Available in several styles and types depend-
ing on factors such as type of piping, medium
flowing through the pipe, torquing and price.
Used where corrosion and contamination must
be combated.
#110 SLIT PTFE ENVELOPE GASKET
For applications generally up to 24” inside di-
ameter. This type of envelope is the least expen-
sive and used in the least critical applications.
Used commonly as tank truck valve gaskets.
#115 SQUARE-CUT PTFE ENVELOPE GASKET
Used to restrict the flow and turbulence in the
line. Used in glass-lined pipes, porcelain, iron
and steel. Used on standard flanges, Glass pipe
gaskets and Adapter gaskets.
#110 FORM SHIELD PTFE ENVELOPE
Used when a gasket is too large to lathe cut or
the gasket is oval, square or rectangle.
FILLERS FOR PTFE ENVELOPES
A wide variety of filler materials are available.
TETRABLUE
Gives high compressibility in addition to con-
formability. Good for chemical and heat resis-
tance for low torque applications. Used espe-
cially in glass-lined pipes. Recommended only
as a filler material in PTFE Envelopes. Originally
developed to replace blue felted asbestos as a
filler material.
DARPAC
Used in applications with a higher torque
requirement this non-asbestos compressed
material gives the envelope more rigidity.
CORRUGATED STEELS
Used when a three-layer application is required.
Available in stainless and soft iron. These fillers
give the gasket the firmness needed.
SOLID VIRGIN GRADE PTFE SHEET
Good for applications with temperature ranges
to 500°F for applications needing resistance to
acids, alkalis, caustics, or corrosives.
SOLID MECHANICAL GRADE PTFE SHEET
Used in applications that are not as critical.
Good to 500°F applications needing resistance
to mild concentrations of acids, alkalis, caustics
or corrosives.
GRAPHITE LAMINATE SHEET
Good for chemical and steam applications
up to 2500°C (in non-oxidizing applications)
Excellent for die cutting.
DARPAC SHEET AND GASKETS
Applications up to 700°F, 1200 PSI.
Boilers – Flange Gaskets.
Pipes – Flange Gaskets for water, steam,
organic acids, alkalis, aromatic, aliphatic
hydrocarbons, oil, greases, and refrigerants.
SQUARE BRAIDED, NON-ASBESTOS
PACKING
General purpose packing for up to 500°F. PH
range 4–10.
