RED RUBBER SHEET AND GASKETS -
TEMPERATURE 225°F
General all-purpose rubber sheet. Temperature
to approx. 150° F - 500 PSI. Good for water and
steam applications.
NEOPRENE – TEMPERATURE 225°F
General all-purpose rubber sheet. Temperature
to 225°F - 1000 PSI. Good resistance to gasoline,
lube oils, animal and vegetable oils, oxidation,
ozone and weather.
VITON – TEMPERATURE 475°F
Excellent chemical resistance for severe applica-
tions. 1200 PSI.
EPDM – TEMPERATURE 275°F
Good resistance to acids, alkalis, hydraulic flu-
ids, ozone, aging, and sunlight. 1000 PSI.
TAN PURE GUM RUBBER –
TEMPERATURE 200°F
Natural rubber - 3000 PSI. Good resistance to
strong and weak alkali, ketones, esters, and
alcohol. Resistant to hydrochloric acids in most
concentrations. Poor ozone and weather resis-
tance.
BUTYL RUBBER – TEMPERATURE 350°F
General purpose non-oil resistant rubber. Good
for ozone and chemical resistance especially ap-
plications with low temperature requirements to
140°F. PSI 1000.
Also good for strong acids, salt solutions, alkalis,
silicate, and phosphate type hydraulic fluids.
Also a good choice for resistance to dilute min-
eral acids.
BUNA-N RUBBER - TEMPERATURE 250°F
Good resistance to petroleum, oils, fuels, and
solvents. PSI 1000.
HYPALON – TEMPERATURE 250°F
Good acid resistance to non-oxidizing chemi-
cals. Very good weather resistance. PSI 1500.
Gasket application include gaskets for ozone
generators.
SILICONE RUBBER – TEMPERATURE 400°F
Good resistance to alkalis, oil, gasoline, ozone,
weather and sunlight. PSI 500.
VEGETABLE FIBER
A general all-purpose gasketing material good
for applications to 250°F.
COMPRESSION PACKINGS
Manufactured from soft pliant materials. Major
uses are in rotary, centrifugal, and reciprocat-
ing pumps, valves, expansion joints and many
more.
EXPANDED GRAPHITE PACKING
Excellent for chemical and steam applications
up to 800°F.
KEVLAR PUMP PACKING
Good for eliminating thermal expansion prob-
lems. For applications to 400°F.
SQUARE BRAIDED PTFE IMPREGNATED,
NON-ASBESTOS PACKING
General purpose packing with added chemical
resistant features. Temperature 500°F.
TWISTED VALVE STEM, NON-ASBESTOS
Good for applications involving water, steam, or
ammonia. Good for temperatures up to 500°F.
PTFE FILAMENT PACKING
High chemical resistance. Temperature range
450°F.
